On the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 11am I go to a local toy store, Toy Time, and do a free story time for preschool kids.
With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I’ve been trying to come up with some fun ideas to do with them. Sometimes I struggle with this, but I love St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve got tons of ideas right now so we’re going to start a little early and do two story times for this holiday.
Free Printable Bingo Cards
I created these free printable bingo cards and they were just too fun to keep to myself! I think the preschool crowd will really love these, especially if we use Lucky Charms as markers!
There are 4 different cards so you can play with more kids and not have all of them win at once.
I also gave you a copy to use as the calling cards (ones to draw to call out…what are those called?). But you could also use them to just print out and make a matching game or flashcards…pretty much anything!
You are free to print them out from the links below:
Calling Card | Card 1 | Card 2 | Card 3 | Card 4
Also check out some of my favorite St. Patrick’s Day children’s books:
– The Night Before St. Patrick’s Day
– Happy St. Patrick’s Day Curious George
– There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover
And some crafts and printables that will add to the fun:
– Free Printable St. Patrick’s Day Candy Kiss Labels
– St. Patrick’s Day Button Clover Craft
– St. Patrick’s Day Vocabulary Cards

Very cool! I especially like the idea to use Lucky Charms as markers, assuming the kids don’t eat them all first 🙂
