I admit, I have a slight addiction to potatoes. I think it’s just one of those things about my body where it turns them to sugar very quickly….making me SOOOO happy when I eat them.
As much as I love potatoes, my kids hate them. Now don’t get me wrong, they won’t turn away from french fries, but rarely do they finish them (which just means more for me). But I CANNOT get them to eat potatoes at home no matter how I make them…until now.
These did not stay in the house long. I had to gobble them up hot right off the cookie sheet before the kids came in and swarmed on them.
I know that I’m trying to be good with my diet…and I am by making these homemade fries, but I did use some Lawry’s Seasoned Salt on these (instead of making a homemade seasoning) and was SOOOOO good. You could use any kind of seasoning you want…don’t skip this step! At least use a little sea salt.
This was also one of those recipes where I could let the kids help…although I think they need a little more help with “sprinkle” since some of the potato wedges had mounds of salt on them and some had none.
Oven Roasted Potato Fries
Run, don’t walk, to go and make these! You won’t regret it!
Will your kids eat potatoes?
