This year for Connor’s 6th birthday, he decided that he wanted a Lego Ninjago themed birthday party (pretty sure it was because he had just attended an awesome Ninja party for one of the kids in his class).
She did some really cute candy sushi and had the kids all come dressed up as Ninjas. They had a blast.
So I had to come up with something to equal this in Connor’s mind. That’s when I thought that doing Lego Ninjago t-shirts for each of the guests would be better than take home bags.

Lego Ninjago T-Shirts
Of course the very first thing I did was go to Pinterest to look around.
I found a really cool DIY Ninjago Eyes T-Shirts Tutorial from Jewels at Home. But I knew that I didn’t have the time or patience to really do it myself (only a FEW things going on around here these days.)
So I email my friend Tina at Monkey, Moose & Tater and asked her if she could help.
She’s recently started a vinyl business and can make pretty much anything you want into a t-shirt, sign, wall art…whatever.

She whipped them up and sent them to me in time for the party. As you can see, she had gone above and beyond anything I could have done (or expected) and even added the kids’ names to their shirts.
It was such a big hit! One of the kids has already worn his shirt to school. Connor was so excited to see that!
If you’re up for doing it yourself, check out the tutorial from Jewel at Home OR you could download some ninja eyes I found on Pinterest and print them on iron on paper and just iron them onto your t-shirts.
My suggestion is still to check out Tina’s Monkey, Moose & Tater Etsy shop and order them from her (WAY easier and not expensive at all!). Plus if you use the code: Play2Learn you will get $5 off any order of $15 or more.

Even Maddi got her own Ninjago shirt.
BTW, she is totally into it all too and it is hysterical! She will spin in circles and scream, “Ninja Go!”

I think your shirts turned out adorable! Thanks for checking out our Ninjago party, too! Glad everyone had a great time!

Thanks for stopping by! We don’t have another boy birthday for 7 more months so we’ll see if we have to do 2 in one year!
Oh my gosh my son is going to faint! He is obsessed with Lego Ninjas. Thanks for sharing this.

These are so cute! I love the idea of giving the kids something useful to take home (versus a goody bag full of junk that will get thrown away or drive the parents crazy). Jack would love these – and I love that they’re personalized. Totally checking out Tina’s shop to see what other fun stuff she has…I know I’ve seen other cute stuff from her!
Pinning!

Your friend was very nice to help out. Little Maddi looks nice in her t-shirt.
Thank you!
