Smoothies are such an easy way to get some much needed fruits and veggies into yourself and your kids.
My boys are a little hesitant about them (hence the fact that I’ve been posting tons of smoothie recipes lately trying to get them to like one), but Maddi usually ends up stealing the ones I make for myself.
I’ll admit this one was a little funky. I tried a couple different versions with different types of yogurt…so if you don’t like this one, maybe try apple yogurt, plain yogurt, Greek yogurt or some other version that you may like better.
Apple Cinnamon Smoothie
This wasn’t one of our favorite smoothies, but it does have some redeeming qualities…it’s super fast and easy to make and with the yogurt in it, it has some extra umph to hold their little bellies over for an hour or two before they’re begging for food again.
To make this recipe even easier, I use my Magic Bullet so that I can make and serve the drink in the same glass.
I will continue to play around with this apple cinnamon smoothie recipe to see if I can find a version that the boys will drink and let you know.
